More About Me
My name is Melissa. I’d like to think I’ve lead a pretty interesting life, but most people think that about themselves. They’re usually wrong. An alarming amount of people think that childhood stories and tales of their relatives are interesting; they are also wrong. Everyone likes to talk about their own stories that apply to no one, and I’ve found that no one really wants to listen. This has shaped my “blogging philosophy:” I make an effort to keep things less about me and more about the bigger picture. Therefore this page is very difficult to write: you have clicked on it to know more about me, but I don’t really know what you want. I guess the easiest solution would be to answer the immediate things I ask myself when reading a blog… here goes:
What is the blogger’s name? Melissa, sometimes under the pseudonym Numendil.
What is the blogger’s age? 17.
Where does the blogger live? Northern California.
What are their political views? So incredibly liberal that it can be embarrassing.
What are their main interests? Composition and music theory, reading Kurt Vonnegut, the psyche of the psychotic, history and economics, Russian culture.
